Grants awarded by the Youth Advisory Council representing local High Schools, are selected to meet youth needs.
Recent grant awards are listed below.

Muskegon County Schools
$7,500 to support the 2011-2012 Teacher Mini Grant Program, which allows teachers to apply for grants up to $250 for classroom projects and programs.
Every Woman's Place
$5,500 to support additional hours of recreational activities at the Smith Ryerson Center for youth in the Jackson Hill neighborhood
Muskegon-Oceana Community Action Partnership, Inc.
$5,500 to support employment opportunities for youth through MOCAP's employment program
Community enCompass
$5,000 to support a youth engagement and violence prevention program in McLaughlin and Nelson neighborhoods
West Michigan Therapy
$5,000 to support the Youth RISE Summer Program
West Michigan Flight Academy
$7,000 to support the Youth Aviator's Club in Muskegon
