COMMUNITY
FOUNDATION FOR MUSKEGON COUNTY ANNOUNCES REALIGNMENT
OF KEY STAFF POSITIONS Community
Foundation President Chris McGuigan announced today
that several key employees will assume new duties and
responsibilities. In announcing the changes, McGuigan
notes that “these personnel shifts will allow
the Foundation to fill a critical fund development
position vacated recently, while at the same time effectively
maximizing use of the tremendous talent pool reflected
among present Foundation staff”.
Long
time Foundation employee and former Vice-President
for Program, Ann Irish Tabor, will
assume the position of Vice-President of Advancement
(Donor Relations, Development, and Planned Giving).
Former Assistant-to-the-President and Director of Special
Projects, Arnold (Arn) Boezaart will
assume the position of Vice-President for Programs
(Grant activity and related programs). Former Program
Associate Gina Van Bruggen will assume
additional duties as Program Officer in the Program
Department.
President
McGuigan notes that “these employees with many
years of combined experience will make a nearly seamless
transition of functions that assures the community
of an uninterrupted level and quality of service that
the Community Foundation for Muskegon County is known
for.”
The
Community Foundation for Muskegon County was created
in 1961 to improve the quality of life for Muskegon
County residents. A publicly supported community endowment,
the Foundation receives and manages contributions from
community citizens and organizations who are committed
to the future of Muskegon County. Supporting community
projects in the areas of Arts, Education, Community
Development, Environment, Health and Human Services
and Youth issues, the Foundation reflects the collective
vision of Muskegon County residents and provides a
cost effective method for contributing to the community
through gifts of any size and of many types.
