Many people think of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County as a resorce for scholarships and grants. While these are important responsibilities, the Community Foundation for Muskegon County is likewise involved in helping donors achieve their philanthropic goals.

How it Works
Imagine you choose to give as little as $200 per year as a single individual or $400 as a married couple to your favorite area of giving or Fund at the Community Foundation. By applying the Michigan Tax Credit for gifts to Community Foundations to your gift, you might be able to reduce your out-of-pocket expense of your gift to as little as $72 for an individual or $145 for a married couple.

All gifts and contributions are added to endowed funds at the Foundation where they serve the community in perpetuity and help create a legacy of giving that will continue on for generations.

And that's when it hits you - the "a-ha!" moment
Philanthropy - Making charitable gifts both large and small to the Community Foundation for Muskegon County means giving For good, For ever.
