Frauenthal Center Celebrates 75 Years of Ultimate Entertainment
In 1930 the Frauenthal Theatre (formerly known as the Michigan Theatre) opened its doors as the first 100% all talking motion picture theatre in Michigan, and quickly became the cornerstone of the arts in Muskegon and Western Michigan. Through the years countless movies have been projected on the giant screen and thousands of national and international artists have graced the stage.
Special celebratory performances continue throughout the year including the zany comic Carrot Top, a family friendly theatrical version of " The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", and the Michigan premiere of Music Theatre International's "Broadway Jr." which includes a show for students and another for the general public. And, don't miss two more special events; "Franks and Steins" in October, and the Grande 75 th Anniversary Gala in December.
We invite you to join us in celebration of the 75 th Anniversary of Muskegon's gem and West Michigan 's grandest theatre! Please visit www.frauenthal.info for more information on upcoming events.
